This tensioner is like no other, it uses a 3rd mount that bolts directly to the cylinder head, this tensioner will not flex,

No other tensioner on the market is as rigid as this KRC tensioner 

KRC's fixed adjustable idler-tensioner bracket and pulley replaces the factory spring loaded piece that wears over time and can potentially throw the belt off on higher horsepower engines. Made from billet aluminum, these tensioners also feature a large adjustment slot for adaptability on on-factory pulley system applications. Our tensioners feature a third mounting point, instead of the factory two. This makes the tensioner much more solid for higher horsepower applications. The pulley itself spins on a steel shaft, making it extra strong.
